Have you tried baked oatmeal? This is one of the foods my husband introduced me to. My boys love it and it keeps them full till at least snack time! You can mix it up the night before and bake it in the morning!
- 1 c. oil
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. sugar
- 6 c. oatmeal
- 4 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. milk
- fruit: bananas, apples, peaches, strawberries, or blueberries (optional)
- toppings: brown sugar, cinnamon, nuts or raisins
Combine oil, eggs, and sugar. Add oatmeal, baking powder, salt and milk. Stir in fruit, if desired. Bake at 350 degrees in a 9x13 inch pan for 30-35 minutes. Serve with toppings and milk.
